Help With Leaf Springs?
vehicle- 97 Dakota 5.2 4x4
I noticed today my leaf springs are very worn out along with the bushings. So I'm probably going to change them soon and I need help choosing new leaf springs since I never done a leaf spring project. I'm looking for leaf springs that will increase my weight capacity, good with off road, and on road maneuvers. I thought about rough country springs but I don't know anything about them quality wise.
1. How many springs should I get?
2. Is there a company that sells leaf springs as a kit with everything?
3. What brand is good?
4. Is it better to just add a leaf spring?
Thanks in Advance

here you go. some of these are direct into the 1500 spring, but you can navigate to your model.
whatever you do, don't waste money on re-arching old springs. they always sag back down.

for extra load carrying capacity like the occasional load of firewood, dirt, or lumber without making the unloaded ride suck, look at timbren rubber springs. i've got them, they're awesome.

Your right the timbren springs look like a perfect add on for extra load without messing up the ride. I'm thinking of buying the OEM replacement springs from Sdtrucksprings.com and maybe the timbren springs too. Looks like it's going to cost me close to 700 dollars for everything.
Is this a good deal? http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index....oducts_id=7697

check generalspringkc, they were $100 cheaper on the 1500 than all the other sites.
their price is $150 on your model.
