starting problems
Have a 2001 dodge dakota. Left it sit for 2 months and when I returned it would not start. Turned on key several times and could hear the fuel pump then the gages engaged and it would start. Would not stay running. Replaced the crank shaft sensor yesterday now it won't start at all. Took off negative side of battery cable and it still won't start. This has me really stumped. Any suggestions anyone.
I unplugged the 3 plugs to the cpu, replugged them and the truck started. Left it for a few hours and it would not start. I am thinking I need to clean the connections. What do I use to do this. I know these are very sensative. Thanks for any help.

I got it fixed okay and after cleaning and changing some sensors I ordered the ECU and the truck is running great. Great place to order, it was only $199. free shipping and return label for the old one. All Computer Resources, Inc and of course it is here in Florida. grin grin. Thanks again for everyone's help. Joe
