Default White Smoke

hey guys i had a quick question that i wanted a clear answer for and i thought you guys could help....i have notice white smoke coming out of the exhaust when i start it up, but then goes away after the engine warms up a bit. i have only noticed it in the mornings which are cold and the smoke isn't thick and only white no other colors. I've been told by people that it could be a broken head gasket, but i doubt it because i dont really notice a power loss in the engine, it still runs smooth, and there is no white stuff in the oil or coolant like they say.. i was thinking, there is some sort of leak somewhere, maybe in the exhaust system, or could there be another component that maybe requires cleaning or replacement causing the smoke?

Thanks

Could be blow-by. Your rings may be worn out. Which engine do you have?

I'm thinking that it might be a blown/failing head gasket. Is your coolant level low?

Have you noticed any significant oil lose between changes? For instance do you have to add a quart between changes?
