Default What adhesive to use?

So some dirt bag tried to break into my truck and ended up ruining the weather strip that goes all around the door opening. Anyone know what type of adhesive I need to use to attach the new one?

3M weatherstrip adhesive works pretty good. Can get it at most and parts store. Not sure if thats what dodge uses but it should work fine.

++++ 3m it also works as gasket holder, i like the black cause it takes longer to harden. a friend of my used to work for fel-pro, they will NOT warranty a valve cover gasket that had RTV on it.

No, they didn't get in but they scratched the door and bent the edge a little and destroyed the weather striping. It looks like they were trying to pry the door edge out so they could get a hanger or something down to pull up the door lock. There wasn't anything in the truck to steal anyway. Go figure.
