Quick question...what is the part number for the shaft that goes from the steering rack to the firewall? I looked on ebay and I guess that the ones they are selling are both ends of the firewall: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STEER...ht_1346wt_1165 which states that its parts 55351206AB & 55351199AC.

I went onto dodgeparts.com, and they are selling 55351206AB for 85 bucks. Is that the lower shaft?

I need to make sure because the u-joint at the steering rack is out of whack and my wheel is really loose at rest.

Well....I dug into the interwebs and found out 55351199AC is the lower shaft part. Dodgeparts.com lists at 190 bucks. I guess I might as well get the entire assembly for 135.
