Default Hey Guys two things

Alright first my buddy is gonna be able to hook me up with his 97 5.2 TB will that fit without a problem on my 03 3.9. If so is it the same sized air hat(I want my air cleaner to still fit) MOST IMPORTANTLY, will it do anything?

Second, when braking I feel I "sieze/release" up front and the steering wheel turns right a little after each seize. Warped front right rotor?

if a rotor is warped under breaking you will feel the pedal and steering wheel vibrate.

Sounds more like a seized caliber. Dakota are known for having bad calibers. If you drive around for awhile you might notice that particular wheels with more more break dust or it might even smell like something is burning if it gets hot enough.

My TB was off a 5.9, I think it's the same as the 5.2 tb and my stock air hat fit over it fine. The v8 tb is the same size as the v6 tb, but the bores are bigger in the v8. You should probably get a new tb gasket too as long as you're gonna have it off. And yeah you can tell a difference in the upper rpms. Not so much off the line, if anything. Good luck.

Edit: Oh yeah and the exhaust has a little bit of a different tone with the v8 tb too.

You should just remove your air hat. It is just a worthless piece of plastic that restricts air flow. Fab up your own intake with PVC.
