something i forgot to mention. I got the 0601 doing the keydance. I plugged in my SCT tuner and pulled the DTC's, and it said there weren't any in the system.

My new unit started to go bad one month later on a trip to California started to buck again rather badly but found if I kept the RPM's up I could avoid the bucking so 600 miles babying it back to Arizona that was fun.

I've had the same code on my 5.9 for 2 years with no troubles....unless thats why my coil has fried 3 times in 2 years....and one crank sensor. Dealer close to me wanted 500$ to replace it....reman pcm and 1/2 hr labor

 

i drove around for pretty much 2 years then crap started to hit the fan. eventually it will die on you.

 

I fired off emails to All Computer Resources and Solo PCM's, and calling 16 dealers in the morning for price quotes. We did that when we were getting stuff for my mom's firebird, and found a dealer that gave us $30 off on a $50 item (wiring pigtails) and free shipping.

Don Davis wants 790.00 but said the nearest one is at Allen Samuels in Waco
Spring DCJR wanted 790.00 but nobody in his region had it
Helfman DCJR said $610.00 is the mopar list price, but nobody had it in his system either
Glen Polk concurred, $790.00 but nobody in southern OK or north Texas had it

The PN 56040233AH has become RL040233AH because it has reached the end of service, and Chrylser is only releasing remanufactured boxes. He said there are about 20 on chrysler backorder, and only 8 dealerships nationwide have them:
