I have Ranchos..of course, they are apparently the same as RC's. Stiff is good for street. Softer is off road. Maybe you have a typo? Anyway, if it was directed at me, it is more the My Ride system than the shocks at this point. But, the whole system, is a bit blah. I just wouldnt recommend it to anyone whole heartedly.

well stiff to a certain degree, you dont want to be bouncing all over the place while offroad. i thought that the procomps did great offroad. oh well, its all a matter of opinion.

Shocks dampen. you want travel with moderate stiffness. Well, depends if your crawling, baja/trophy...all sorts of stuff. Id have to say 40% opinion..

See: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...xl-shocks.html

Issues:
-Valve, or ****(without MyRide) in rear, is in a vulnerable position on the pass. side unit
-Fronts didnt 'fit' really. They went in, but the body was a bit beefier(not bad), but didnt seem to be the beesssst fit(No issues since)
-leaky MyRide system, compressor not working right. Need to call Rancho

Good:
-Adjustable, on the fly...and you can notice it.
-Stiff is nice for streeting, but since you're lifted, might be a bit painful, but you also have fat tires to compensate...

Anyway, I can't say Im disappointed entirely, just wish it was a better system..And probably wouldnt drop whatever I spent again.

Every website lists the Rancho RS5757 for the 2007 Dakota's only. But plenty of us put them on 06's and 07's (maybe later years too, can't remember for sure) when they are not listed for the 06 & 07's, only the 05's. So the websites are not always correct.
