Man it is killing me not to lift mine. Ive just leveled mine out with 285s and it looks good. I just dont think with the 3.73s and auto tranny that i would go any bigger do to mpgs and power. I may go with a 2in BL one day just to get a little extra height but hey im getting old so maybe not. Those are SS Boggers on the gray Dak.

That's for sure... I wish we just had coils in the front. It would make lifting them so much easier.

My buddy spent 1,300 on his 5in lift for his ram that was from skyjacker too. It was tough too I remember having that truck maxed out to the point where I thought the frame was going to snap haha

Whoops i meant 3.55s not 3.73s as well. YEah you can easily spend the same $$$$ on an IFS lift as you can with an SAS

Yeah I have 3:55s as well and with the steep grades out here I need 4th gear on a couple places on the interstate. I would've liked to have 3:92s pretty bad but oh well. It would be too expensive to swap the gears in both differentials.

Half the people who see my truck think it's a Ram, anyway.

I'm running 4.10 gears in mine with 35s and it really doesn't have enough power. When these tires are worn out, I'm going back to 33s, too.

I would actually love to have a Ram 2500 instead (I do a lot of towing), but I'm pretty much keeping this truck for life unless I want to lose a boatload of money on it.

Drop a 440 or something bigger in it Tom.

Power problem solved haha, or maybe go to 4.56.

We know you got the tools and know how to do it haha, just not sure on the time though.

I would do that in a heartbeat, but I live in California, home of Draconian smog laws. About the only thing I could do legally would be a newer Hemi, or maybe a V-10 (hmm...)
