At least I'm not the only one that guts my truck to clean it...haha.. I hate how nicely the trucks clean up...Makes me more guilty when it's dirty..

I haven't really done a great job keeping up on this thread the past few days, but we've made a good amount of progress, including dropping in the new engine!

Exhaust manifiolds and heat shields all bolted up

Ready to go!

Almost there!

It's in!

We got almost everything done underneath the truck today (exhaust and some brackets). All that's left to do under there is putting the starter motor back in. It's lookin good for now though!

Here's how it's sitting right now:

Were hoping to have it up and running by the weekend!

We got the intake manifold and and the fuel rail hooked up yesterday!

I'm hoping to get the fans put back on tomorrow, along with all the radiators. It should be pretty straight forward once all that's done!

Yeah, You are in the clear. It shouldn't be too tough to finish up what it looks like you have left to do. I love a good engine swap

Here's the latest update

Got the fan on

Then the radiator...

...and a/c and transmission coolers

Here's a very short little video as well
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvIOH4mujW0

Anyways, its running awesome! The transmission feels good too, so that's kind of a relief. We took it for a drive around the neighborhood and the check engine light came on, so we borrowed a code reader from my neighbor. Turns out somethin is kinda weird with one of the o2 sensors. That can be replaced though. Well, that's all for now!

We put a new o2 sensor today and there are no longer any warning lights on the dash! It's lookin like we actually did this whole thing the right way! I'll try to keep this thread updated if any issues come up, but everything's runnin perfect right now!
