Default Air intake

2000 dakota 3.9l v6 4x4 Can anyone tell me where this truck takes in the air for the A.C. and the heater. I want to spray some Lysol in there to get rid of some stench. thx

Well depending if your in "Max" or "Vent" Ac mode.

Max- If you open the Glove box; and take if off right behind you will see an opening there at the end of that opening in the back it makes a few bends well that's the primary source; this is where i stick, sticky air fresheners.

Vent- If you take the plastic off from behind the hood; where the vends and wipers are (Youll have to take the wipers off) then look down in there you will see a hole that goes under the windshield; on the passenger side if you look close enough you will see to the left a little "Looks kinda like a bowl" that is where the air comes through from the outside.
