i have 97 dakota 4x4 auto,
my problem is when i start truck,it idles erratically,by feel and sound but rpm gage is normal?very weird.also when this happens and i take off my truck runs in high rpm, 3000 to be exact.it will not kick down,until i pull off the road and turn truck off and then restart it.also my check engine light will come on.if this doesn't happen for a day or two then my check engine light will turn off again.this must of happened to somebody out there.any help thankful.if you don't understand what i'm saying please ask me ill try to clear it up better.thank u.
