Default electric fan

Has anybody ever switched out the power robbing fan clutch assembly and fan to an electric fan?????

I did this to my 2001 Dak. Just running the stock electrice fan. Slight noticeable improvement in accelleration. No problems yet in several days of 100*+ heat. Just barely see the temp. needle go a little higher.

No Joke... Sam Parthemer will fix you upwith a Viper fan. Other than that... you could go the Permacool fan route. 'Bout $100. from Summit. You'll need a 55 amp relay tho. I run mine manually... it's off runnin' 40 mph or better. Both the clutch fan and the AC fas removed... no prob's in over 4 years. Permacool 14" @ 2800 CFM.
