Default turn signal problem

Hello guys, I got a problem with my turn signal. Last week when I was at a family members house they backed into the driver side of my truck. Warped the bumper and but the headlight.

I decided to buy a decent looking set if after market headlight housings. I also thought I'd get an hid kit, big mistake. long story short, I didn't like the hid kit.

Here's the problem. After I took my old headlights out, reconnected all the bulbs and installed new headlights. My blinker closest to the corner, on drivers side, is blinking on longest filament. The other bulbs are blinking on the shortest. Also the are blinking fast like a bad ground.

Now there is a ground wire I undone behind the headlight, one wire goes to the battery. The other went into a thick bundle of wires. I unscrewed the grounds and put my ballast ground there. I thought that might have been the problem.

So I took it loose after I took my hid kit off and sanded the ground and connections. Same problem. I checked all my fuses and none are bad. I then made a new connection from those two factory ground wires to the firewall. Same problem. I then got under the truck and swapped the pigtail to the bulbs. Same problem same bulb. I also tried the factory bulb that was in there before. Same problem.

The only other thing I can think of is the connector from the pigtail to the bulb went bad. But the headlight assembly I bought is a 1 piece. And I can't take the headlight out without taking the bumper off.

I have no idea what else to try, so if any of you guys got an idea as to what it could be I'd really appreciate it.

This is on a 1999 Dodge Dakota.

update:

After a little testing I found the outer bulb of the two blinks dim on everything except hazards.

When I have my parking lights or headlights on the outer bulb, the dim one, alternates blinking without the inner bulb, towards radiator.

Saturday I'm gonna take my bumper off and headlights off and do some testing. Still puzzled though.
