Default Headlight

My drivers side headlight is actin funny. it runs fine, but sometimes, well a lot of the time, it wont turn on, ive gotta hit it and then it lights. ive checked the wiring and it seems fine. i am lookin to get new headlights anyways but in the mean time, any suggestions? and if ya can, post up some headlight options i should consider, i wanna see what i can work with! thanks!!

You mean aftermarket headlights or bulbs?

I would pull the battery so you can really get in there to check your connection. Maybe clean your plug real good and apply a little grease and then re-connect.

Your bulb might be starting to go bad too.

Mine was doing something similar, but with the battery in there it was tough to really see anything. Took out the battery and gave the plug a good cleaning. Also, make sure that boot isn't folded under putting some stress on the plug.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

im gettin aftermarket headlights, i wanna go for a one peice. and i found some on ebay for 85 bucks. they are all clear. looks sick!!
thanks, i willl definantly take the battery out and give er a good cleanin and grease it and reconnect it!

Theese are the ones I got for my truck off ebay. I got them with all the bulbs for 134.00 shipped. The one thing you have to make sure on cheaper lights is how strong and thick the mounting tabs are.

in my experience if you buy new ones take them apart and re seal them so moisture don't get in, especially with lights off ebay you need to re seal them. it'll make them look better. JMO

I looked at the seal on mine and they were sealed really well.

those look super good! im likin those! yeah gettin cheap headlights is risky cuz they will be built cheap. i will definantly take a look over em and re seal em if i need to. thanks!
