Default 98 Dakota 3.9 - Injectors Not Pulsing

hey fellow dakota drivers! i'm on my 3rd 2nd gen in a few years, i currently own an 03 quad cab and a bagged 98 extended cab.

i'll try and make this short and sweet, recently bought the 98 with a seized motor, so i swapped another 3.9 in it out of another 98....

ok so IT RUNS on carb cleaner, so obviously it has spark and most of the correct signals from crank, cam, etc.

HOWEVER, the injectors are not spraying, and there is plenty of fuel pressure at the rail, 50+ psi, yes i have a gauge on it

i hooked up a noid light to every injector plug and no light on any of them, i am getting power to each injector, on both sides ironicly, but no ground......the computer is not outputting ground to any of the injectors either

i have replaced the PCM and the distributor pickup with the 3 wires coming out of it, also the auto shutdown relay clicks and has power, and yes i've checked all the grounds and it seems i hooked everything up properly and nothing is loose

******
my question is what tells the PCM to ground the injectors?

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED FROM YOU EXPERTS! THANKS GUYS! =)

You probably already checked all the fuses and checked for codes , how about the asd relay ? It seems to me that you might have a bad/missing ground somewhere ??

well its really weird ive checked all the basic sensors, cam crank map distributor pickup fuel pressure tps sensor.....etc all are working normal

if you let the truck sit for 40 minutes or so and crank it with a noid light on the injector harness, the noid light blinks for about 2 or 3 seconds then shuts off.......if you try and recrank you get no light and no ground, sooooo SOMETHING is killing the ground to the injectors, and im not sure if its the CTM or the alarm module, im at such a loss

its not the PCM either because i tried another one

any suggestions would be helpful!!! =) PLEASE

The ctm shouldnt control any of that stuff the alarm should still let it start but it will shut right back off. I know in my truck it will start right up but about 1-2 sec later it will shut off while the security light on my dash is blinking.

well the alarm/security is definitely connected to, if not in the CTM

ive almost memorized the schematics on all-data

we hooked a modis up to it and all signs say that the security is disarmed and not active, i just cant figure out whats telling the injectors to stop pulsing and why

Have you moved the dist at all? The dist controls the fuel sync to the injectors. Needs to be set pretty close to +4. May want to check that out.
