Default 2002 Dakota 3.9L Questions

Im new to the forums, but as all forums go its hard to track some good info. down. I am greatful for any help I can get

I got a 2002 Dakota 3.9L with auto trans. 91K miles

Im going to be changing out the trans to Redline C+ATF, Does anyone have suggestions for a possible mixture to better proformance.

I will also be changing out my Rear Diff. fluid to synthetic Any suggestions. Its easy for me to get a hold of Redline or Amsoil Products.

Also before I completely change the fuild is there any way to tell which Diff I have, so I can change the gearing for better fuel econ, need help with proper gearing for it.

As long as the Redline is ATF+4 compatible you should be fine. The rear diff will need 75W90 synthetic fluid. Check the glove compartment for the sticker that has all the rear diff gearing info.
