I have a 2001 Dakota 4.7L it starts great cold but when you get to normal operating temperature it will not do anything until it cools off. The park indicator will not light up but shift to anything but neutral and it has the square around the gear. When it cools off then it will be around park and neutral. Any help?

 

bad neutral safety switch? Truck thinks it's in gear so wont let it be turned over? As for why it would do it when warm - maybe bad ground or loose connection? Just throwin **** out there...
