Hey Guys, i got a 97 Dak 4x4 and i wanna change the diff fluid cause i dont know when the last time it was done but i dont know what fluid to refill it with???.. bought the truck a year ago and am slowly working on it. Help needed and thanks in advance !!!

i filled mine with royal purple, no need to add the friction modifier b.c RP already has it in there. its a little pricey though.

I just got 2 quarts of 75W-90 Valvoline gear oil when I did it about a year ago.

if you want factory recommendations, get a Haynes manual or call the dealer.

AMSOIL Severe Gear 75W-90 because I'm stupid and I live in the state where it is created and manufactured.
