2002 club cad sport 3.9l 4x4.
Power windows wipers and 4x4 not working. The 4x4 just flashes. Power locks and mirrors still work. It just happened yesterday. Any ideas?

keep records. save up for unexpected costs. by keeping gas records, you will know when something goes wrong. also dont let the fuel go below 1/2 tank, that will save the fuel pump.

The service manual says when the 4x4 light flashes it needs you to put the truck into neutral because the speed is too fast for 4x4. You can try putting it in neutral, then selecting 4 hi for 10 seconds then 4 lo for 10 seconds then go back to neutral and see if the 4x4 light goes back out. If not it could be the transfer case control module (TCCM) is bad. There is also a sensor on the transfer case that could be bad too. Sorry I don't know much about 4x4, I just read that in my Dodge Service Manual.

The wipers and locks could be due to a bad Central Timer Module. It is located in the drivers kick panel. They are known to fail, it is a common problem on Dakota's. You can try unplugging it for a few minutes and see if it resets. If not, you may need to have the Dodge dealer to check it with the DRB 3 scan tool. Thay is the only way to test the CTM for sure.
