After some tough thoughts I figured I might as well man up and bite the bullet and shell out a few extra dollars. So I don't end up doing a motor swap like I did on my truck, haha. I will sure to keep you guys in the loop, this forum is really like a family. almost every other forum I go on people bash each other left and right. I today I just figured out that I am going to have my Kota until about Feb. because of an issue relating to the possible unemployment of one of my parents. So I get to stay a little bit longer! but now comes the process of de-man-ing my truck...

I have an 09 wrx(pushin about 310 horse with cat delete SPT exhaust and tune)...in 09 the wrx had a faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile time than the sti due to weight diff and extra gear to get up to speed. Awesome car, this is our 3rd roo-roo love them to death.

Yeah I won't be able to afford anything newer than an 05 and I honestly don't like the body style of the models after that. The STI hold the power better in the trans area but with the newer models im guessing they fixed it. STI's are the way to go pre-05 as far as im concerned, they have more performance parts than the WRX's have. Also the STI's have more additional features like better brakes, trans, and intercooler sprayer

I can understand your choice. STi's and WRX's are a TON of fun. Once I'm out of school and making some money I'll be getting one hopefully. Plus who doesn't love the sound of their turbo? Unfortunately, they're not a whole better on gas than my truck...

I will try to stay on this forum as long as I can. They are better MPG than my truck for sure, well they get 24mpg hwy, but with 300HP 300TQ and AWD I won't complain
