Default Throttle Body

Cleaned the throttle body on my 3.9 today and let me tell you that was the best hour I ever spent scrubbing. The truck is much more responsive. Can push the gas a lot less than before and it kicks in. Much better performance. Hope it adds a few MPG also.

I also think I might have found my pesky evap issue that has been on for a few weeks also. Took the advice of many on here and looked at the hoses on the canister under the drivers side. At first glance they appeared ok but when I put one of the off it was split. Not an easy thing to just replace however though since the end on the canister is larger than the other end. Might be trying to find that one but for now I have it attached. I am hoping this is the last of the evap code.

Talking Go to O'Reilly Auto Parts or other auto store ask for rubber fittings

Go to O'Reilly Auto Parts or other auto store ask for rubber fittings.

O'Reilly Auto Parts has many rubber fittings for things like that end plugs (L) shaped rubber connections they have many sizes and shapes

If not sure always ask an auto store what you are looking for they just may have an answer for you.

Hmm. Added that info. Not sure why its not showing. Will do. I went to NAPA and they didn't have anything that would work. Will try O'reillys.

Default if dealer has it great

If the dealer has it great but I tried to get me one vacuum elbow and they said I had to get the whole vacuum system $75 an elbow at O'Reilly Auto Parts was $5

You could just make one out of rubber tubing find one soft enough to stretch to fit both sides.

Cant hurt to give the dealer a visit and see
