Default electrical outlet in truck

i work at the costco tire shop here in oregon and i just pulled a dodge diesel 2500 into the bay and i noticed that integrated into the front bumper was a DC outlet.. thought it was a fantastic idea (have wanted to have one in past trucks to power several different things) and wondered if anyone has done this to their truck or if they've seen a thread where it's been done? thanks!

Have a look at a new Toyota Tacoma, they have an AC outlet in the box. The are 400W at off and 1100W at idle?. I have a 400w that I just clamp onto my battery, gives me a enough jam to power up small stuff when I am in the back country. It will shut down when the battery reaches 10.5 volts. I have also wired a 12V power port into the canopy so I can power my cell when having a tailgater.
