Default Hard jump after warm when going from park, reverse, neutral, or drive.

I have a 02 Dak and it jumps when I shift from park, reverse, neutral, or drive. I had a buddy look at it and he said the tranny was bad. I had him put a rebuilt in and the problem is still there. It comes up with P0455. Driving it shifts gears just fine. Any ideas?

P0455 is an evap code for Dodge?

Does it jump when you shift from drive/park/reverse to neutral? Or from park to neutral?

Or is it only park to reverse/drive? Chances are it's backlash in your differential causing the slop.

After it has warmed up it jumps when shifting in any combination from park, reverse, neutral, and drive. Would the evap leak cause this? I'm not much of a mech. Are you talking about slop in the rear diff? If so what do you suggest I look at?

My truck does this and I too have the P0455 code.

Coincidence?
