Default Rotors

Anyone have anything on cross drilled/slotted Baer Decela Rotors? I was thinking of getting them on the front of my 2000 Quad Cab. Do they last long, are they proned to warping? Also do they help in stopping power, because I tow a 4000lb boat. Are they worth it? Thanks.

I had them on my vette once....for the money I would rather just buy new stock rotors. I guess if you race they might run a little cooler but are subject to warping more also, they still get hot! My opinion....I can replace stock rotors three times compared to a set of those things. Just my opinion...others may have had better luck with different vehicles.

What he said! I've had the Powerslot/Hawk combo on my '99 cc 2wd for over 35,000 miles with no warping at all. And the braking power, lack of dust and pedal feel is awesome

Make sure to torque your lug nuts to 85ftlbs, in a criss/cross, 2 step pattern (50ftlbs and then 85ftlbs). This alone will make any set of new rotors and pads live a lot longer, without warping.............DO THIS STEP!!!!!

you might also want to try ssbc they have an upgrade kit. not sure how they are but ive never heard anything bad about them

I have SSBC's conversion kit on the rear. REAL brakes for a change! Front's I'd still opt for Powerslots 'n Hawks tho.
