Default 5.9 trouble

03 5.9 qc, recently the trucks been hitting a deadspot around 2500 rpm on a moderate acceleration.... Not all the time, very random instances, any clues? Just getting the norm p0601 code. Coil, plugs and wires are only about 2 months old,cap an rotor less than a year.
