Got a knock and a question

I have. 00' dakota 4.7 when I start it it knocks for a few min then stops should I be worried and I want to do a cat back exaust any recommendations

Is it a real noticeable knock or more of a tick?

Mine has a slight tick to it at first but it goes away once the engine has warmed up. I haven't worried about it much.

If it's a ticking sound when you first start it up, it's your injectors. This is normal. Does the same thing on my 01' Dakota. Same thing with our 2010 Ford Escape.
