We can make it better...faster...stronger... not make loud banging noise... So machine shop in Conroe, Tx is gonna rebuild my block and my heads...$1195 block and $208 for heads. Will take 2 days. I have to push and pull motor and heads... no biggy. for the last 2 weeks ive been trying to solve this issue. Ive put new rod bearings on it. new flywheel on it... still wont solve my noise. So tomorow morning im going to start the process of pulling the motor out to have it overhauled. Should be out in under 2 hours. Maybe monday it will be ready to put back in. I also plan on installing a timing chain kit, already put new phlenum gaskets on it. new water pump, new exhaust manifolds, full gasket set with all new seals, new pistons, rings, crank, bored .20 over. Im tired of driving my brothers 96 f-150 centurian... gets worse mileage then my dak... 48 miles a day gets expensive. While im tickering around with new parts I also plan on dressing her up a bit under the hood. I already have the valve covers interstate battery green, I plan on re-doing that with a insert silver MOPAR decal with mopar blue surround.and a mopar yellow intake manifold with powder-coated exhaust manifolds...
