Default throttle body

FWIW I just bought a throttle body from Dan Arcand, http://www.thefastman.com/index.php.
Good written instructions, gasket and new fasteners included for one stop shopping. I can't say what improvement because I didn't drive much before buying for a good baseline and it is only a 3.9l. But the machining on the replacement throttle body looked to be well done and should improve top end flow. ALso my original throttle body with only 70k miles did have some carbon starting to build up.

I just got a V8 TB and took a die-grinder to it. It helped the top end noticeably.

I had Hughes Engines do mine years ago and was pleased with the results. I remember a warning they gave that if you over-torque the hold down bolts the butterfly will bind up. Sure enough they were right. Easliy fixed and I've been happy ever since.
