My 45rfe blew the pump.
Well last week on Wednesday morning heading to work my tranny decides to give me the middle finger and just quits pulling.
So today I get a call from the guy fixing my tranny and find out my it is ****ed. I some how managed to bust the pump. So now I have to have him completely rebuild the damn thing. Originally it was going to cost 1500 but him and my dad worked together years ago and have done quite a bit of business with each other so he is going to help me out and do it for 1200. To me that's a lot of cash but I know that's not a bad price for a rebuild in my area for a dodge tranny. Hopefully he will have it done either the end of this week or sometime at the begin of next week.
Also, has anyone ever busted a pump on a 45rfe? Never heard of that happening but I dont know much about a dodge transmission.

Got my truck back today. And I must say it shifts better than before.
But now I have noticed that I'm going to have to replace the rack and pinion cause it is pure fluid out from the left in tie rod boot.

I really don't know. The man who rebuilt my tranny just said I busted the valvebody and the pump. He may have meant the converter.
