NV1500 Short Shifter
Bpark8824 don't sweat it, it's cool.
98DAKAZ, is the Jeep manifold that much different from the one we have? I'll have to look into that.
I've already rebuilt my suspension. I've got moog coil springs, energy upper and lower control arm bushings, moog links with energy grommets, xrf upper and lower ball joints(those were fun haha), belltech front swaybar with bushings, moog inner and outer tie rod ends, energy leaf spring bushings, belltech rear sway bar w/ links, kyb monomax shocks up front and monroe sensatrac load adjusting shocks in back. The truck is a brick now. By far one of the stiffest suspensions I've ever felt, the only it could get better is if I were to lower it, which I won't do.

I want to do all that well most of that in the future as money and time come my way I have the bushings just didn't install them decided to wait till I do the passenger side ball joints then replace those Coil Spring Insulators that I forgot last time wish I didn't forget those things Damn.
Did the belltech front sway bar help and what model size did you get oh and what price was it? My stock size was the 28 mm if I remember correctly.

The front sway bar is 1 1/4" which is 31.75mm. When I replaced it I felt an immediate improvement, my steering was more responsive and much tighter. My truck didn't come with a rear bar, but I was lucky that I had the diff mounts for it. The rear bar made a world of difference, the rear wheels are glued to the ground now. Each bar is about $215, but they also sell a kit that comes with both front and rear for about $400.
Yea my Dak didn’t have rear bars also I think all the 2.5 engine trucks didn’t come with them if you say that makes a difference I should get the rear ones also my back sways way too much and loses traction at times that pisses me off.
So this will be on the Belltech web or did you get them some other place?
My My money money money when will it end ha ha we know that answer dont we.

00daksport25 great job on your Dakota wish I could spend that kind of cash but it’s a little here and a little there. Post a few pic's of it even if the paint is bad that’s one thing I’m lucky with still stock paint but in great shape well most everything on my Dakota is in great shape I took great care of it all these years.

Thanks 98DAKAZ. Yea, well I dont have to many large expenses(besides my truck) so, I am able to put more than I probably should into my truck. It's funny because I'm currently planning on completely redoing my brakes. Get some EBC slotted rotors, ferro-carbon pads, and rear disc conversion. Money money money haha. Yea, sure, I'll get some pics up either today or tomorrow. Just a fore warning though, it is a true definition of a beater truck, in appearance only though. I'm the 3rd owner and it seems like I'm the only one who has really cared for her lol.
