Default I suggest KYB

I suggest KYB I like my KYB I have Rancho on the back but think they are just ok but my KYB up front are great.

Bilstein is the best but very pricy.

I have KYB MonoMax up front and Monroe Load Adjusting in back. I love my KYB and my Monroe's keep the wheels glued to the ground.
