P0449 Code

Default P0449 Code

My 2004 has a p0449 code and i can't seem to get a hold of a service manual. can anyone tell me where the solenoid is on my truck so i can check connectors, etc? (4.7l 4x4 qc) thanks

I would start with checking the hoses leading into your solenoid. I found the hose leading into mine was split in two places. I am sure someone who knows the 4.7 will chime in on where yours in. On my 3.9 it is on the driver's side underneath the battery. May be the same on your not sure.

sorry, it's a P0499. it's not in some lists.

something with the EVAP if i'm right. possibly something with your fuel pump?

P0499 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Vent Solenoid Control Circut high

That's what it is stating.

I took the connector off the vent solenoid and i get a 0443 code. i guess the 0499 is something else.
