Default clicking sound when I accelerate?

I had my windows down today and noticed that when I accelerated, when over 2500 rpm I could hear a distinct clicking noise for about 2 or 3 seconds then it stopped. I almost thought it was something misfiring at first but sounded more like clicking. I heard it clearly from the driver's side. Anyone have an idea about what this may be?
thanks

The specs on the truck are
2004 dakota 4x4, about 140 000 kms, put spark plugs in in fall, recently changed coolant, just noticed sound today.

yep i got the same thing. exhaust leak. i have had mine for 4-5 mo, no need to do it fast. if you do it your self, when you take it down, tighten it the bolts only to 70% first, then retighten after 6-8 heat cycles. and you DID use anti-seize compound on ALL threads, didn't you?
