No this isnt a post of what most you guys think it might be hahaha. Thought I would update what ive been up to. Still on the hunt for my cummins and trying to sell my dak. Had a few interested people but they have been backing out on the day that they want to come look at it. Found a 02 2500 im going to look at he said about a trade plus cash so im looking at my truck + 15k pretty good with a truck that has 40k on it. Hopefully it all goes well since I have looked at 30+ trucks now! For right now this is my ride cause the cj was being to hard on gas and a pain to drive. FYI if anyone finds a nice 24v cummins 4x4,ext cab manual for sale let me know willing to drive 500 miles for one.


Its a 04 grand cherokee limited loaded with every option except nav. Im happy it just has a 4.7(I average 16-17 city and 22 highway haha) lol Very clean and 100 times more comfortable than my dakota. Its just my ride till I find a truck. unfortunately I did have to replace the window regulator in it but 80.00 for a new assembly with motor wasnt that bad. Plus I can get at least 20 out of the old motor since it was still good

Yeah but I dont see how it justify to drive every day. I was getting 13mpg all around everyday. Where a truck that has more power, is bigger and is like 4k lb heavier can get twice that. I was getting 230 miles to a tank of gas in the dakota where my buddy can get 470-500 miles on a tank of diesel. Granted its 125 to fill it but its 90 to fill my truck so its better to get diesel in the long run.

 

Well my guy came to look at my truck today and could be a possible trade plus cash. So will see how that works out. Its a 02,6 speed 5.9 HO cummins edge with attitude,silver bullet turbo,south bend dual disk clutch, 40k on the new cummins 138k on the truck.

Well it was my dads and I was giving him 5 for it when I sold my truck but now that I am trading my truck im just giving the jeep back to my dad. I tried to convince him to let me use the challenger but he just laughed and walked away haha The cummins gets 17-18 city and 22-24 highway so better than the jeep lol

 

That's a sweet lookin truck. Honestly if I knew if gas prices were going to stay high, I'd get rid of my Dak and look for a cummins. Good luck and man you better post pics of that beast if you get it!
