Default Tail shaft of t-case leaking

I have a question, I just replaced my T-case under warranty due to the shifting fork not working right. Just yesterday I noticed that it is now leaking at the tail shaft, when I put the drive shaft back in I took time to inspect the end of the shaft that goes in and it was clean and had no noticeable grooves or anything and I put a little oil on it so that it would slide in the seal and not damage it. It went in real smooth, I don't want to have to replace the case again so I want to get the seal taken care of as soon as possible. Anyone ever have this problem, or any ideas? I did have this same problem on the last one and even replaced the seal and it didn't seem to fix it. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Mine just started leaking. But it is the original. I was planning on doing a trans rebuild and hit that seal while im at it.

does anyone have any suggestions on why the seal starts leaking shortly after I replace it? Or any solutions that can be done for cheap since I'm a poor married college student?

What seal are you using is it the dealer Type with the rubber boot over it or one with out the dealer ones are nicer but last I looked was also 30 some bucks for one that was a few years ago maybe it has gone down

I have used both, and it fixes it for a couple days then it starts leaking again. It is very frustrating.

How are the universal joints on the driveshaft? If they are wobbly, that will cause some runout, and most likely deform the seal a bit.

Otherwise, you could have a bad bearing in your transfer case. This is less likely, but I guess, worst case scenario.

I'm sure it isn't a bad bearing since I just barely replaced it. The joints feel tight and I'm not getting any vibrations when I'm driving.
