Default 99 5.2 dakota dies when i come to stop light

Just bought a 99 dakota 4x4 5.2 5 speed and when I come to stop lights it usually dies. It always seems to start right up afterwards. I replaced plugs, wires and the cap and rotor and it still dies. It might even run a little rougher. I had the engine light checked and it said o2 sensor so i checked and the cat has been removed. I have read somewhere that you wanna take the rear o2 sensor out? Would this help my dying problem? Or maybe throttle positioning sensor?

Thank you

I would try a iac that could be your problem.

I beleive the IAC is on the back of the throttle body right? If it looks like it has been changed recently. The truck also feels like its cutting out going down the road when your just i would call it cruising but when you let off or put the gas down further it comes out of.

Sounds like tps then. My moms grand cherokee was doing that at a steady speed it would skip but if you hit the gas it would quit. Replaced the tps never had a problem with it since
