Default Fog lights

So I bought a 2000 Dakota. It's a regular cab sport. It doesn't have fog light and I was looking to slap some of the cheap Walmart ins in. How tough is it to instal them? Should I be fine with just buying the kit and going for it? I planned on just mounting them behind the grille or right in the slot in the bumper

Go to the bone-yard and try to find a dak with the lights in it.
At least you might be able to find a good set of mounts cheap. (Maybe the lights too).
The stock lights are not that expensive.
Also, the switch. Installing aftermarket? Depends if your gonna mount them in the
stock location or not. If so, your looking at cutting the holes out, (cleanly).
Fabbing a mount for your aftermaket lights & then wiring them to a power source
And, finding a good spot to mount your switch. Just about the same minus the fabbing
if you find a stock set-up in the junk-yard. While all of it is not hard, it will take some
time to do it right either way.

I hit a trash can and broke one of my fog lights. It was cheaper to go to the dealer and buy the whole kit (switch, wiring harness, brackets bulbs) than to buy one OEM replacement from ebay. Check with the dealer.
