Default Front-end work

There's a zillion posts in this forum about replacing ball-joints, the bushings, etc.

So, I've done my reading, watched a bunch of YouTube videos of various folks taking on this project and I *was* feeling pretty comfortable that I could tackle the job of essentially doing the upper/lower ball-joints, control arm and sway bar bushings with the help of my two neighbors - both of whom have pretty extensive experience repairing vehicles and have the tools to do the job.

Then, one of 'em says, "Oh, you have torsion bars... better take it to the dealer and let them mess with it."

??? WTHeck?

Seems neighbor #2 has played hell in the past getting the vehicle ride height, even and back to where it's supposed to be when dealing with torsion bar suspension.

This issue has never been addressed in any of the threads I've read or video's I've watched. Is it that big a deal to get it back where it was?
