Default ram air cold air intake

I want to take my k&n cold air intake with the heat shield it has, which is open on the bottom by the way and either put a piece of sheetmetal on the bottom and run a tube from the grill to a hole I drill in the bottom or rite below the cold air intake in the front of the truck on the rite hand passanger side there is to very small stock holes at the front of the engine bay. I've been thinking about drill a 4inch hole with a hole saw bit and running a piece of dryer vent flex from the heat shield to the bumper. I wanted to see some pictures, hear some suggestions and some good and not so good ideas so people can see how to make a ram air. Like I said I already have a k&n cold air intake but I want to make it better in my opinion. thanks guys.
