Default Tire rubbing frame

Hello I am new to the forums. I am getting ready to completely rebuild a 97 ext cab 4x4 with a 5.2. The truck came with a 3" body lift, Hooker Headers, and a vortec exaust all for $700 (pics coming soon) My main question is how do i avoid tire frame rub. I will be running 33" Pro Comp Mud Terrains on 16" rims. I had this problem with my 98 half ton 4x4 and i dont want to run into this problem with the Dakota. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
(only has 90k miles)

I think you should be fine with a 3 inch lift and 33's, but if you were having troubles before then maybe you could crank the torsion bars a little? They'll give you a max of 2". Or, my buddy just put 35" Mickey Thompsons on his ram and he needed to get a 1 or 1.5" spacers put on.

Others who have actually lifted and are running 33's will chime in, but I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. Maybe on very sharp turns or offroading they may rub a bit.

You will need to run different wheels for absolutely no rub. My truck came with 31's on it and even at full lock they rubbed a little bit on the frame.

My 33's didn't rub the frame as much as the inner fender, but 1"-1.5" should solve that
