Default Repainted my back bumper today

This weekend I decided to repaint my rusting back bumper. Yesterday I took a wire brush bit and used my drill to blast all the rust off. I washed it off good, dried it and put a coat of primer on. Then after 2 hours I put a second coat on. Waited til today and started painting. I used tremclad flat black with 3 coats. I put the first coat in the morning, waited til lunch time for the second and put the 3rd one on mid afternoon. Bout 2 hour intervals. Anyways as im sure your waiting for, pics

Looks good... I did this a little over a year ago. Same exact thing, left the bumper on the truck and everything. I totally regret not taking it off to paint it. Now it's rusting worse than before, I'm going to take it off soon and sand blast the sh*t out of it and coat it in some rust proof stuff then paint. I may just fabricate a whole new rear bumper lol I'm pretty sick of this one.

Looks good! When I got re-ended and bent my Chrome bumper I replaced with a painted steal one.. Repainted it.. but the plastic covers they use.. (Cheap Bastards at Dodge) well paint does not seem to stick very well to them..

I gotta go buy some new already painted black.. Those really suck big time.. anyways.. looks better man..

Looks great man! I really like the look of a black satin finish. I've been wanting my whole truck painted in that satin look ever since this one job I was working in South Philadelphia a few months ago where I saw a Dakota that was painted satin black AND the head & tail lights were coated in a clear satin - it looked menacing and awesome!
