Help! 2003 Dodge Dakota fuse circuit 1 shorting
Trying to get my 2003 Dodge Dakota 4.7l v8 to pass inspection in texas and the only thing holding me back is the fact the high beam indicator light won't work and it appears that light is on circuit 1, which blows every time i put a new fuse in (short i'm guessing)
Anyone have a wirring diagram that shows what i should check for on the internal circuit? Anyone have any ideas what to check?
I pulled the CTM, opened it up, no corrosion or burns i could see, my alarm works, high beams/low beams work, door locks work, turn signals/reverse/break lights all appear to work.
I have had a problem with moisture on the passenger side before, so i left all of that up to check wires, and nothing obvious. I've pulled the overhead console lights, the read bed light, the dome light, the glove compartment light and lifted the dash out to check the console lights as well, and they all appear fine.. but i still blow the fuse even with all of those disconnected.
Any help appreciated, i'm at a loss as to how i can easily debug this sucker
