Default Color matching front and rear bumper

So the next thing I'd like to do to my truck is color match the front and rear bumper on my truck. There's a place down the road from me that does sand blasting so I'm going to get that done. But what I'm thinking is that I have 3 options on how to do this but come with there up and down sides to them.

Option 1: Factory color in spray can.
Upside: Easy to do primer, rattle can, clear, done
Downside: probably wont look very good. I want it to look like it came from the factory with the bumpers painted.

Option 2: Spray gun
Upside: will look better than spray can
Downside: Never done any painting before and would have no clue what to do with base coats wet sanding, still a good chance of me messing up and making it look bad

Option 3:Take it to a professional
Upside: Will definitely look the best and I'll know it was done right
Downside: I don't want to spend the money on something that I should be able to do myself

So any advise or opinions would be appreciated cause right now I'm leaning toward the spray gun or taking it to a pro.

Done with rustoleum quarts. Mixed to match, thinned with mineral spirits for the gun (about 50/50) and then added clear coat. Still looks good after 2 years.

Lots of good info there. I actually just locally found a bumper off a 2002 durango for $50 so I think I might buy that and use that as a test piece. If it doesn't end up horrible Ill throw it on the truck. Now I just got to figure out when to do the sanding and stuff like that. Also Rakaric what size rims and tires are you running. I'm looking for different rims and tires but don't want them sticking out of the fenders and I like the way yours look

If you want it as smooth as possible, wetsand after every base coat with I'd say 600 grit up until the last coat. If you throw on clear coat after, you can sand that down with a 1000 - 2000 grit sandpaper and buff it out. I can't really tell you how easy or hard it will be to buff it out with a buffer because of all the curves, so I don't know...doing the roof was easy since it was flat.

I have 15x7 Cragars with the D shaped holes. The picture in the sigpic was my old BFG A/Ts which was 31x10.5. I currently have General Grabber HTS tires right now. I figured I didn't need the all terrain anymore.
