Trans cooler leak fixed- STILL SLIPPING
2002 Dodge Dakota R/t
I had a slow transmission leak that i was keeping up with until 2 days ago I found it start really flowing out. Everything was covered in oil so i had a lot of trouble locating the leak. Yesterday after work it started slipping really bad so i pulled into the next autozone, grabbed a quart, brought it up to minimun on the dip stick. I get home (4 miles later) and its pouring out onto the concrete. I got in and drove some corners around my neighborhood. slipped the whole time but tried to baby it. Found that my trans cooler was rubbing on my front bumper and created a pin hole. Replaced the trans cooler (back to autozone- 4 miles) Added 2 quarts and brought it up to the bottom "ok" line, which is above minimun. But its still slipping here and there mainly 1st to 2nd, a little 2nd to 3rd. Neutral to drive is good as well as N to Reverse and 3rd and ^.
Did i burn up the gears?
What price range am i looking(paycheck to paycheck is why im concerned)?
Can I fix it myself or do i need a transmission tech to fix?
Thanks again!

I wish you'd posted a follow up here. I've been reading for three days here for a solution. I guess I'll just make a new post. I hate to double post, so I read read read, and this thread seems to be the closest to my problem.
