Well I have a big, flaky, white spot on my hood from the crappy clear coat...I was looking at getting it painted, but found a black hood from a 2004 Durango for 100 bucks. The owner has had it in him basement since 2005...I checked it out. Looks perfect.

Cheaper than painting too.

Worth the hassle of a 16 minute drive and putting it on?

 

Sounds good to me I’m thinking on the same lines but for a different reason I’m looking at some paint upgrades and I don’t want to trash my hood I found a good hood on Craig’s-list for only $35 no dents.

Still thinking yes or no?
