97 5.2 4x4 trans swap aut to manual
ok i have a 97 dodge dakota it is 4x4. the trans just went out on me and i am wanting to change it to a manual. will the nv3500 work whit this truck and will i need to change the computer when i switch it out?

It may be a 1st Gen. But most of the swap info will be the same.
As far as the PCM you can get a manual trans PCM or use yours but you will get codes and no shift light.
