So it's 100 in the shade on ym back poch, overhead computer was reporting 117 on way home...AC was hot and the needle was around 12:30 or 1:00.

Took the heat gun to it, thermoclutch is 178F, radiator is 190-200, has a 180 stat in it.

The electric fan is toast (doesn't turn on), clutch was tight but not exactly locked up.

I've been wanting to do the HHR/Taurus fan mod, might be a reason to work that way...

going to let it cool down and see what's in the water tank.

 

jondakotaguy has a thread on that fan and he didn’t think it was up to the job he went with a Jeep fan that has more power look it up it was a few weeks ago.

That fan was very powerful
