Default Has Anyone Used Duplicolor Caliper Paint on their Dakota?

I'm thinking about painting my brake drums and calipers black, as they're rusty and you can see them between the spokes of my rims.

Has anyone ever used the Duplicor product on their Dakota? It seems to get pretty good reviews on forums for other cars/trucks, but I was wondering if anyone here had tried it.

Thanks.

IDK but I would take a brush too them and knock all the rust off you could.. then use some Rust Cure on them to kill the rust.. maybee give them a nice smooth finish with some finishing sand paper..

Then I would use Rust-o-leum; Personal Fav is a satin finish. I'm not big on Gloss or Flat.. maybee semi-gloss would be ok> IDK.

Sure thing.. if that is a concern use the high temp paint they make for Grills Rated up to like 600 F. or somewhere higher.

Point i was making though was to kill the rust and use a paint that has the inhibitor in it.

I used that on my exhaust tips and it has held up nice, roughed it up with 300 grit first to knock some of the rust off.

It would probably behoove you to replace the rear drums first. That way you already have a clean slate to start with.
