Default 2004 QC V6 - Loss of Power

Hi guys,

Like the title says, I have a 2004 V6 Quad Cab with about 45K miles on it.

I know the truck isn't very powerful to begin with, but lately I've noticed that it's very sluggish on acceleration. The plugs were replaced about 5K miles ago and I changed the TPS and o2 sensors the last time an o2 sensor failed (not long ago). It's got a K&N filter in the air box.

Someone told me that the Cat Converter going bad could rob the truck of power. Anyone know anything about that? Any other thoughts?

It's got a 3" body lift and oversized tires on it but that shouldn't make such a drastic difference.

Thanks for the help.

Joe

the issue on my buddies ram was the cat once she was replaced he had factory power back. it would be worth a shot rather then to rechange everything that you already have
